ASP.NET MVC Preview 2 released today and you can head over to http://www.asp.net/mvc to
get the new stuff. I put together four
new screencasts for this release.
I really feel that a well-done screencast is
a great learning tool. Last month I did a
survey of you all, Dear Reader, and got 1000 responses and published the ...

One
of my first projects when I started
working here is an ASP.NET Wiki. ScottGu had
the idea and my team had to make it happen. The Beta (finally!) launched today. A
lot of work went into the development and seeding of this project.
The idea is that folks spend a lot of time trolling the ...

Come to a VS2008 InstallFest - ask your local MSFT Wonk where yours is - and get
a free copy of VS2008Pro. If you've got Beta 2 installed, remove
it first.
From TimH: ...

My eighty-ninth

During
my Friday Keynote at the PNPSummit I did a
silly 30 minute PowerPoint that ended with some LOLCats and
a few examples of LOLCode. If you're not familiar
with LOLCats, they are basically
silly pictures of cats that speak a l33tspeak-like language, like IM IN UR BASE KILLIN
YUR D00DS.
This language has turned ...

When you install .NET 3.5 on your system, while the .NET CLR is the same and runs
the same, there's some additional Properties and Methods that were added to the Base
Class Libraries in order to make some 3.5 features like LINQ work as well as fix a
few customer issues.
Daniel Moth
has a very nice diagram explaining ...
