My name is Keith Barrows. I've been in the computer industry for most of the last 30 years. I originally learned computer programming back in high school on a PDP-8J with 3K of core memory, 2 teletypes, 2 tape readers and a lot of patience. My first two languages were BASIC (took almost an hour to load the interpreter) and a bit of Octal based assembly.
Fast forward to present time. I am a .NET programmer. I love anything to do with the backend and middle tiers of applications. Workflow, communications, integration and process automation are what I do best. I also love working with the various Microsoft based communities. I am a founding ASPInsider, have been a Microsoft MVP, ASPElite and it goes back to pre-internet days as a member of the SMUG (Seattle Modem Users Group). I also will frequent the following communities: ASP.NET, DevAdvice (ASPAdvice, SQLAdvice & RegexAdvice are all part of this community), The Hive, Community Credit, etc.
And now for some of my favorite destinations on the net:
