San Francisco Nixes Marines Commercial
Just about everyone appreciations the character, courage, and dedication of the U.S. Marines, who qualify as heroes just for
getting through their training — except of course in San Francisco, which has once again put its hostility toward the military on record by denying Marines permission to film a recruitment commercial on the anniversary of 9/11.
Even New York City, infested though it is with moonbats, allowed the Marine's Silent Drill Platoon to film part of a recruitment commercial at Times Square during rush hour. After all, a society that doesn't offer a little consideration to its heroes runs the risk of running out of them. But heroes are a relic of the past best forgotten from the point of view of many San Franciscans, who having plunged whole-heartedly into the depths of degeneracy don't want to be reminded of the noble values the Marines represent.
The city's Film Commission Executive Director Stefanie Coyote would allow the commercial to be filmed only if there were no Marines in it. You see, to moonbats, Marines are icky, like guns and flags and churches.
While their betters fight and die for their freedom, the kooks running San Francisco have expressed their appreciation by banning junior ROTC, trying to ban the Blue Angels, and refusing a dock to the historic USS Iowa.
Imagine the whole country run by the sort of vermin in charge of San Francisco. How long could we survive? With SF's Nancy Pelosi atop Congress and the military-loathing Clintons on their way back to the White House, we may soon find out.
